Razonemos Juntos: Math Tutoring

The goal of this program, Razonemos Juntos: Math Tutoring for K-12 students, is to advance academic performance by improving work habits and study skills to be able to reach students’ highest potential. These habits and skills will help students to understand the importance of work ethics and set them up for life-long success. In addition, by creating study discipline, students will increase motivation and attitudes to reach their potential by developing critical thinking and intellectual independence. This face to face tutoring program uses an advance pedagogy format that will benefit the students to be familiar with mathematics. Dr. Rene Valverde-Ventura and Dr. Carmen Paniagua will guide the students during these tutoring sessions.
Pre-registration for Fall 2018 will be available on October 26th, 2018
Time: Every Friday 7:00 – 9:00 pm East Time
Cost: No Fee
Requisite: Be a SHPE Jr. Member
